Friends and neighbors were saddened to learn of the death of Rev. Archie B. Kight, age 87, of Broxton, who passed away Monday, December 7, 2009, at the Coffee Regional Medical Center, following a short illness. Survivors include: His Wife: Vonalee P. Kight of Broxton, Ga.; Children: Larry (Sarah) Kight of Land O’Lakes, Florida, Rose Lee Stambaugh ; Sherry (Tom) Suits, all of Tampa, Florida, David Kight ; Danny (Susan) Kight all of West Green, Ga., Gail (David) Smith of Albany, Ga.; Janice (Tre) Acorn of Pridgen, Ga., Susan (Keith) Buchan of Douglas, Ga.; Teresa (Randy) Day of Tifton, Ga., Roger Long of Pridgen, Ga.; Glen (Polly) Hursey of Hawkinsville, Ga., and Keith (Mary) Hursey of West Green, Ga. 1 Brother: Henry Daniel Kight of Alma, Ga. 2 Sisters: Edna Dukes of Waycross,Ga.; and Mae Gonzales of Tampa, Florida. Many Grandchildren, and Great Grandchildren. Several Nieces, Nephews, and Other Relatives. Funeral Services will be Thursday, December 10, 2009, at 2:00 P. M., at the West Green Baptist Church, with the Interment to follow in the Burkett Cemetery. The family be receiving friends this Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 6:00 to 9:00 P. M., each evening.
