Mr. Mark Anthony Williams, age 45, passed away suddenly Tuesday, November 10, 2009, in Savannah, following a short illness. Mr. Williams, a native of Kermit, Winkler County, Texas, had lived in the Douglas area for many years. He was a Truck Driver with Fletcher Oil Company. He was the son of the late Eddie Williams, Jr. Mr. Williams was a member of the Southview Church of God. Survivors include: His Wife: Hope Renae Butcher Williams of Douglas, Ga. Children: Tailor Nicole Williams; Jacob Ryan Williams; Faith Renae Williams, and Brandon Earl Williams, all of Douglas, Ga. His Mother: Peggy Ann Folmar Williams of Tennessee. Brothers: Roger Glen Williams, Michael Eugene Williams; and Eddie Wayne Williams, all of Alabama, And Ronald Keith Williams of Tennessee.. 2 Grandchildren: Levi Roy Williams, and Haley Elizabeth Williams, both of Douglas, Ga. Several Nieces, Nephews, and Other Relatives. Funeral Services were held Tuesday, November 17, 2009, at 2:00 P. M., at the Southview Church Of God, with Rev. Hilton Martin, Rev. Benji Capps, and Rev. Johnny Smith officiating. The Interment followed in the Griffin Cemetery. Active Pallbearers were: Jess Griffis, Jackie Flanagan, Ruffin Duncan, David Roberson, Jesse Thigpen, and Chris Maze. Special Musical Selections, “I Can Only Imagine”, was presented by CD Music, “The Anchor Holds”, was rendered by Brianna Butcher, with Taped Music, “Oh, What A Savior”, was presented by Joyce Roberts, with Judy Foskey, at the Piano, “I Believe He’s Coming Back”, was presented by Ronald McMillan, with Judy Foskey, at the Piano.
