Mrs. Mary Nell Courson Eaton, age 81, of Hayneville, Ga., passed away Thursday evening, October 8, 2009, at the Taylor Regional Medical Center, in Hawkinsville, Georgia, following an extended illness. Mrs. Eaton, a native of Coffee County, was a homemaker and wife of the late Rev. John Russell Eaton. She was the daughter of the late Horace Courson and the late Nellie Grace Dees Courson. She was also preceded in death by 2 Sons, James H. Eaton and Joseph D. Eaton. Mrs. Eaton was a member of the Hayneville Church Of God. Survivors included: 2 Sons: John P. Eaton of Clarksville, Tn. ; Paul David Eaton, Sr. of Waycross, Ga.; 1 Daughter: Mary Revell of Hayneville, Ga.; 2 Brothers: Retired Colonel Donnie Courson of Douglas, Ga.; and Maxwell Courson of West Green, Ga.; 2 Sisters: Rebecca Harper of Broxton, Ga.; and Hiawatha Porter of West Green, Ga.; 9 Grandchildren, and 17 Great Grandchildren. Several Nieces, Nephews, and Other Relatives. Funeral Services were held Sunday, October 11, 2009, at 3:00 P. M., at the West Green Church of God, with Rev. Jimmy Revell, Sr. and Rev. Justin Moriarity officiating. The Interment followed in the Lone Hill Cemetery. Active Pallbearers were: David Eaton, David Turner, John Revell, Jimmy Revell, Jr., John Richter, Larry Porter, Harry Harper, and Harris McFadden. Special Musical Selections, “Thank God, I’ve Made It”, presented by the Soloist, Cathy Bartlett, with Rev. Brian Boutwell, at the Piano, and “Look What I’ve Traded For A Mansion”, presented by the Soloist and Pianist, Rev.
