Mrs. Ruby Inez Rentz Murray, age 73, of Douglas passed away early Wednesday morning, September 23, 2009, at her residence, following an extended illness. Mrs. Murray, a native of Taylor County, Florida, had lived in the Douglas area for many years. She was a former employee of Douglas Foods. She was preceded in death by her father, Daniel Lee Rentz and her mother, Ruby Lee Noles Rentz. Mrs. Murray was a member of the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints, Ward 2 Douglas. Survivors include: Her Husband: Clinton Murray of Douglas, Ga. 3 Sons: James Clinton (Jimmy) Murray of Douglas, Ga. Kenneth Wade (Wanda) Murray of Douglas, Ga. Kyle Aubrey Murray of Jesup, Ga. 1 Brother: Clarence Edwin Rentz of Tallahassee, Florida. Grandchildren: Tony Lee Wilson, Mariah Wilson, Kiala Alisha Murray, Kaci Alyssa Murray, Kimberly Murray, Kendra Bailey, and Ashlee Teal. Several Nieces, Nephews, and Other Relatives. Funeral Services were held Saturday, September 26, 2009. at 11:00 A. M., at the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints – Douglas 2nd Ward – with Bishop Johnny Spell, First Councillor in Bishopric, Pres. Timothy Fussell, and Bro. Ovid O’Neal officiating, with Bro. David Cox offering the closing Prayer. The Interment followed in the Cumorah Cemetery, with Pres. Timothy Fussell and Bro. Ovid O’Neal offering the Committal Services. Pres. Timothy Fussell rendered the Dedication of the Grave. Active Pallbearers were: Kevin Kneeland, William Mills, Guy McKinnon, Lester Murray, Phillip Murray, and Iran Murray. A Special Musical Selection, “How Great Thou Art”, was rendered by Timothy Fussell and Danny Solomon, with Lois Mills, at the Piano. “Pre-Lude” and “Post-Lude” soft hymns were presented by the Pianist, Lois Mills.
