Mr. John Riley King, age 67, of Ocilla passed away Friday afternoon, September 4, 2009, at the Irwin County Hospital, following a short illness. Mr. King, a native of Coffee County, was a Truck Driver, and a U. S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam Era. He was the son of the late Fannie Newbolt. Survivors include: His Wife: Pauline Yarberry King of Ocilla, Ga. 2 Children: Debbie King of Emerson, Florida John R. King, Jr. of Tampa, Florida. His Father: William Newbolt. 3 Step-Daughters: Cindy Barnwell of Broxton, Ga., Dana Williams, and Debbie Brantley, both of Douglas, Ga. 1 Grandchild: Robert Leigh of Tampa, Florida. 2 Step-Grandchildren: Arianna Leigh, and Dora Leigh, both of Emerson, Florida. Uncle & Aunt: J. P. Soles and wife, Marie, of New Port Richey, Florida. Uncle: Phillip Soles of Tifton, Ga. Funeral Services were held Monday, September 7, 2009, at 2:00 P. M., at the Chapel of Ricketson Funeral Home, with Rev. James Moore officiating. The Inurnment will follow at a later date.
