Linda Sue Singletary Wooten, age 61, of Douglas GA, passed away on Tuesday, August 25, 2009 at home. Mrs. Wooten, a native of Coffee County, GA was born December 08, 1947; she is the daughter of the late Bryant & Alice Whittle Singletary. She was a Dispatcher at the Douglas City Police Department. Survivors inlcude: Husband, Joseph “Joe” F. Wooten, Step-children, Joey Wooten & wife, Christina, Douglas GA, Jennie Rigby, Douglas GA, Step-Grandchildren, Ada Wooten & Abby Wooten, Special Aunt, Lennie Robinson, Douglas GA & Several cousins. Graveside Services & Interment will be held 4:00 PM, Thursday, August 27, 2009 at the Douglas City Cemetery with Rev. Marshall Adcock officiating. Active pallbearers are Members of the Douglas City Police Department. Sims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
