Mr. Morris Glenn Hamontree, age 45, of West Green, passed away suddenly Thursday evening, July 8, 2010, in Walton County, Florida, as the result a traffic accident Mr. Hamontree, a native of Coffee County, was a truck driver. He was presently working with the Alma Express Trucking Company of Alma. Mr. Hamontreee attended the West Green Baptist Church. Survivors include: 2 Sons: Rusty Hamontree of Valdosta, Ga. and Brandon Hamontree of West Green, Ga.; 3 Grandchildren: Dalton Hamontree, and Haley Homontree, both of Trussville, Alabama, And Austyn Hamontree of San Diego, California.; Parents: Alfred G. and Brenda Cato Hammontree of West Green, Ga.; Maternal Grandmother: Nancy Cato of Douglas, Ga.; 2 Sisters: Shelvie (Dewayne) Hursey of West Green, Ga. and Twyla (Robert) McClendon of Douglas, Ga.; 1 Niece: Samantha Hursey of West Green, Ga.; Girlfriend: Sherry Burkett of Douglas, Ga.;
The Children’s Mother: Rachel Tanner of Culman, Alabama. Graveside Services and Interment were held Tuesday, July 13, 2010, at 3:00 P.M., at Burkett Cemetery, with Rev. Gary Clements and Rev. Kevin Bounds officiating. Active Pallbearers were: Ricky Corbitt, Gene Tanner, Ricky Hollis, Mandy Lowery, Jason Jowers, and Clint Cauley.
