Mr. Gerd Wolfgang Freudenhammer, age 68, of Douglas passed away Tuesday, April 13, 2010, at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Freudenhammer, a native of Frankfurt, Germany, had lived in Douglas for many years. He retired from Coffee High School as an Industrial Arts Teacher. He was the son of the late Richard K. Freudenhammer and the late Meta Kreiger Freudenhammer. He was a U. S. Navy Veteran of the Vietnam Era. Survivors include: Son: Jessie Ean Freudenhammer of Valdosta, Ga. Brother: Claus (Elaine) Freudenhammer of Franklin, Pa. Special Friend: Susan B. Freudenhammer of Douglas, Ga. 1 Niece: Kellie Parks of Franklin, Pa.
