Mrs. Eunice Cherie Schramm, age 62, of Cleveland, Ga. passed away Saturday, March 13, 2010, in Cleveland, Ga., following an extended illness. Mrs. Schramm, a native of Thomasville, Georgia, had lived in the Douglas area for many years, prior to moving to Cleveland, Ga. While residing in the Douglas area, she and her husband, Fred Allen Schramm, ran and operated the local May Tag Laundry for 22 years. She was a member of the Northside Baptist Church, where she worked with the W.M.U. She served as the Youth Director. Survivors include: Her Husband: Fred Allen Schramm of Cleveland, Ga. 1 Son: Rodney Allen (Michelle) Schramm of Cleveland, Ga. 1 Daughter: Leslie Cherie (Nathaniel) Carter of Waycross, Ga. 1 Brother: Wendell Derrell Wilson of Palatka, Fl. 4 Grandchildren: Robert Lee Hubbard of Douglas, Ga., Brandon Dwight Schramm stationed with the U.S. Marine Corp, Tiffany Michelle Carter of Waycross, Ga., and Kyle Phillips of Blackshear, Ga. 6 Great-Grandchildren Several Nieces, Nephews, and Other Relatives. Funeral Services were held Tuesday, March 16, 2010, at 11:00 A.M., at the Northside Baptist Church, with Rev. Marvin Holladay and Rev. Joe Daniel officiating. The Interment followed in the Douglas City Cemetery. Active Pallbearers were: Steven Hopper (Lead Pallbearer), Joey Nipper, Thomas Nipper, Glenn Fussell, Ray Fussell, Dave Morris, Phillip Morris, and Wes Carter. Special Musical Selections, “All My Help”, written and presented by the Soloist and Pianist, Brittany Black, of Brewton Parker College, and “Victory In Jesus”, was presented by the Congregation, led by Brett Boggus, of Brewton Parker College. “Pre-Lude” and “Post-Lude” soft hymns were rendered by the Pianist, Brittany Black.
