Mrs. Angeline R. Stone, age 69, of Nicholls, passed away early Friday morning, March 5, 2010, at the Bacon County Hospital, after an extended illness. Mrs. Stone, a native of Coffee County, had been an Assistant Librarian in Fort Pierce, Florida. She, along with her husband had moved back to the Douglas and Nicholls area several years ago. She was the daughter of the late Milton Newton Rawlins and the late Bertha King Rawlins Phillips. She was also preceded in death by her step-father, Ira H. Phillips. Mrs. Stone had been attending the Iron Road Holiness Church. Survivors include: Husband: Perry Stone, Jr. of Nicholls, Ga.; Children: Ronnie (Michelle) Stone of Ft. Pierce Florida; Michael Joe (Angel) Stone, Chris (Suzanne) Stone; Lisa Diane (Donald Scott) Pritchard; Bryan Alexander Stone; and Josette Stone all of Nicholls, Ga.; 12 Grandchildren, and 1 Great-Grandchild; Several Nieces, Nephews, and Other Relatives. Funeral Services were held Sunday, March 7, 2010, at 2:00 P. M. at the Chapel of Ricketson Funeral Home, with Rev. Floyd Tanner officiating. The Interment followed in the Douglas City Cemetery. Active Pallbearers were: Michael Stone, Bryan Stone, Billy Johnson, Tony Brantley, Steve Rawlins, and Hank Crews. Special Musical Selection, “I Want To Stroll Over Heaven With You”, and “Go Rest High On That Mountain”, were presented by CD Taped Music.
